Blake Lively Expands Legal Claims Against Justin Baldoni with New Allegations from Other Women

Blake Lively

In a significant escalation of her legal battle, Blake Lively has filed an amended lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in the film "It Ends With Us". The newly submitted legal documents allege that Lively was not the sole woman to experience discomfort on set, as other women have also reported similar experiences. Lively's representatives claim that "other women confided in Blake about their discomfort and fear of coming forward", indicating a broader pattern of behavior from Baldoni.

The 163-page filing, submitted to a New York federal court on February 18, includes claims of sexual harassment, defamation, and retaliation against Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios. Lively’s lawyers, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, assert that the amended complaint "provides significant additional evidence and corroboration of her original claims" and includes previously undisclosed communications with Sony Pictures and various witnesses.

The lawsuit also expands to accuse Baldoni of orchestrating a smear campaign against Lively and others. This is allegedly part of a strategy to undermine the credibility of those raising complaints, with a crisis management team and "digital manipulation experts" allegedly engaged to "destroy" Lively’s reputation and family.

The amended complaint also names Jamey Heath, a producing partner, and Jed Wallace, a crisis PR executive, among the new defendants, alleging further complicity in the alleged campaign against Lively. Lively’s legal team has requested subpoenas for Baldoni’s phone records, hoping to uncover communications that prove a concerted effort to malign her.

While Baldoni has yet to respond to these renewed allegations, he previously initiated a countersuit against Lively and others, seeking substantial damages for defamation and libel. His legal team has denied all allegations, asserting that Lively’s claims are part of an attempt to gain control over the film project. The case continues to gather attention as it advances towards a trial date set for March 2026.
