Brian Austin Green Opens Up About Marriage Breaking Point with Megan Fox
Megan FoxBrian Austin Green recently shared personal insights into the subtle signs that can indicate when a marriage is in trouble. The actor, best known for his role in "Beverly Hills, 90210", discussed this while reflecting on his past relationship with ex-wife Megan Fox on the "misSPELLING" podcast, hosted by his former co-star Tori Spelling.
Green, 51, and Fox, 38, were married from 2010 to 2020 and have three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Green revealed that he first realized their relationship was faltering when Fox began expressing irritation over minor habits such as his chewing. "She’d gotten to the point where everything was annoying her", Green admitted, describing these small grievances as indicators that their partnership was suffering.
He elaborated, saying, "You kind of get to the point where you’re like, ‘God, just the way you’re shuffling your feet right now, the way you’re putting that toast in the toaster is just driving me crazy.’" Green highlighted these moments as crossroads in a relationship, where a couple must decide to seek therapy or risk letting these issues "build up and get worse".
Tori Spelling, who once dated Green, recalled a conversation during their collaboration on the "Beverly Hills, 90210" reboot, where Fox’s irritation with Green’s chewing was first mentioned. Spelling said she initially thought "How bad could it be? She loves him". However, this seemingly trivial issue exemplified deeper disconnects in their marriage.
Despite these challenges, Green and Fox have managed to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship. Both have moved on to new relationships, with Green engaged to "Dancing With the Stars" alum Sharna Burgess, with whom he shares a son, Zane. Meanwhile, Fox recently ended her engagement with musician Machine Gun Kelly.
