Demi Moore's Daughter Surprised by Mom's Past Role in 'About Last Night'
Demi MooreIn a candid revelation on the September 11 episode of "Late Night With Seth Meyers," Demi Moore opened up about a surprising reaction from her daughter, Tallulah Willis, regarding one of Moore's iconic film roles.
Tallulah, 30, decided to watch her mother's 1986 romantic-comedy, "About Last Night," during a period when Moore was extensively traveling for the promotion of her upcoming film, "The Substance." However, the viewing experience took an unexpected turn.
"I have been traveling a lot with the film, and [Tallulah] said, 'I was really missing you, so I put on 'About Last Night,'" Moore shared with Seth Meyers. What Tallulah didn’t anticipate was encountering her mother in intimate scenes with co-star Rob Lowe.
"And then I didn’t realize there were sex scenes, and so I had to turn it off," Moore recounted Tallulah saying, humorously adding, "She didn’t even say 'sex.' She just said, 'I just didn’t realize they had those scenes.'"
The film features Moore playing the character of Debbie Sullivan, who embarks on a passionate relationship with Danny Martin, portrayed by Lowe. Moore’s reflection on this incident adds a humorous touch to widely-publicized anecdotes surrounding "About Last Night," including an infamous scene where Lowe injured himself during filming.
Besides this amusing family story, Moore also recalled her experience filming "Ghost" alongside Patrick Swayze, nostalgically admitting that while she may not have mastered pottery, she “could fake it well enough.”
